Jasmine price

Jasmine Price is a dedicated educator. She has a profound, unwavering commitment to fostering inclusive environments, teaching for social justice, and growing as a leader who strives to create a more just and equitable society. Ms. Price started her career as an English teacher for the Syracuse City School District and quickly discovered her passion for working with students who look like her. While teaching at a high school in her district, she decided to become an adjunct professor for SUNY Oswego, where she taught about the history of education through a social justice lens to preservice teachers during the summer semesters. Ms. Price is always seeking ways in which she can make a bigger contribution to urban education. Currently, she is not only an adjunct professor for Syracuse University School of Education but also serves as one of the Assistant Directors of Diversity, Equity, and Belonging for the Syracuse City School District. Ms. Price’s journey stands as a testament to her dedication to empowering those who have been historically marginalized in our society, advocating for a more just and inclusive world.
